In comments at a press conference on April 13, Ali Zeinivand highlighted Iran’s resistance against 40 days of military aggression by the US and the Israeli regime, saying, "Since (February 28), when a heavy crime against the Iranian people occurred, the national crisis headquarters was activated by utilizing experiences from the 12-day war of June 2025, and special conditions were communicated to all provinces. We were not caught off guard anywhere, and even a moment of pause did not occur within the Ministry of Interior."
He explained that as of March 1, the internal management of the country was divided into five regions, and every day before noon, all needs of the provinces—including essential goods, fuel, and necessary items—have been supplied.
The spokesman noted that the crisis headquarters records damage estimates daily, adding that in cities, the governorates and municipalities are responsible for addressing affected areas.
Emphasizing the continued strict control of Iran’s borders, Zeinivand said, “There is no serious concern along the western, northwestern, southwestern, northern, and southeastern borders. With the measures taken by our martyred Leader, two headquarters—one in the northwest and one in the southeast—were activated, and the enemy was unable to cause significant harm. Kurdish, Turkish, Arab, Baloch, and Khorassani border guards were all committed to border security."
Regarding the reconstruction of damages caused by the US-Israeli attacks, he said, "In one day, our bridges and railroads were targeted, but they were quickly repaired. Today, no major route is blocked. The administration and the Ministry of Interior’s priority is the people and their lives."
