The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that the child was forcibly taken from the town of Qabalan to the illegal settlement of Itamar, with no information on his whereabouts or release.
In separate incidents, four attacks occurred south of Nablus and another east of Tubas, involving assaults, abductions, and deliberate mistreatment of civilians, WAFA stated.
Local village council head Ibrahim Omran confirmed that a young man was severely beaten between Aqraba and Yanun, while in Burin, a woman suffered suffocation after occupation forces stormed her home, assaulted her with pepper spray, and fired live ammunition to terrorize residents.
Two young men from Einabus were also abducted, taken to a settlement area, beaten, and stripped before being released, WAFA added.
East of Tubas, a Palestinian farmer was attacked while working on his land, though his condition remains unknown.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces carried out 4,723 attacks in the West Bank in 2025 alone, resulting in the killing of 14 Palestinians and the forced displacement of 13 Bedouin communities—over 1,090 people.
The escalation in violence follows Israel’s expanded military operations in the West Bank and East Jerusalem (Al-Quds) since October 8, 2023, with Palestinians viewing the surge in killings, arrests, displacement, and settlement expansion as a deliberate push toward formal annexation.
In 2024, the International Court of Justice ruled Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory illegal and demanded the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Al-Quds.
