The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced on Monday, April 6, that the IRGC Navy and Aerospace Force units have carried out a series of combined and impact-oriented operations against the command, operational, logistical bases, and military-industrial infrastructure of the US and the Zionist regime starting this morning during the 98th wave of Operation True Promise 4.
In the first phase of this operation, the naval forces of the IRGC precisely targeted the Israeli cargo ship SDN7 with cruise missiles, which caught fire extensively after being destroyed, a statement said.
It also noted that north and south of Tel Aviv, strategic centers in Haifa, chemical companies and factories in Be'er Sheva, and the location of Israeli military forces in Petah Tikva were accurately struck by Iranian ballistic missiles, as the Zionist regime's advanced air defense systems were unable to intercept the missiles.
The IRGC also stated that the US terrorist military's amphibious assault ship LHA-7, which has over 5,000 sailors and Marines on board and carries helicopters, was also hit by rapid Iranian missile launches, forcing it to retreat deep into the southern Indian Ocean after this wave of attacks.
In another part of the offensive operation, the joint drone production center of the UAE and the Zionist regime, along with a number of aircraft stationed at Ali Al-Salem Air Base, were precisely targeted by drones and missiles, the IRGC said.
The statement made it clear that the offensive operations of the Armed Forces of Iran and Islamic resistance groups in the region against enemy targets will continue.
Additionally, traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and activities in the waters of the Persian Gulf are being monitored by the naval forces of the IRGC, and any minor movements by the adversaries will face decisive responses from the Iranian military forces, it warned.
The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of then Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
