Speaking to the Tasnim news agency, the informed source pointed to the recent threats made by the US president to target Iranian power plants and bridges, and noted, "After several failures and retreats, and of course after today's historic defeat in Isfahan, Trump is trying to divert attention from this very amazing historical day with threatening tweets."

The Iranian Armed Forces have foiled a US attempt to rescue a downed pilot, destroying several aircraft—including Black Hawk copters and a military transport plane—in a coordinated operation south of Isfahan in central Iran.

The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters of Iran announced on Sunday, April 5, that that Iranian military forces have destroyed several US aircraft in southern Isfahan, thwarting an attempted mission to rescue a downed American fighter pilot.

As regards Trump’s threats against Iran’s infrastructure, the informed source said, “If Trump intensifies his madness by carrying out these threats, he will only make his defeat more glorious! And of course, he should know that in this case, in addition to burning all American interests in the region, the consequences of the war will probably reach American territory.”

The informed source further clarified that he does not mean firing missiles at America; and added that Trump had lied about this issue before the war and is lying now.

“But Trump will see that they will experience severe turmoil from within American territory,” he noted.

Referring to Trump’s miscalculation in starting the ongoing war, the source warned that trump will also make a big mistake in calculating the escalation of the war and will only exacerbate his defeat.
