Two MKO Terrorists Executed in Iran

According to the Iranian Judiciary, Abolhassan Montazer and Vahid Bani-Amerian, members of an MKO terrorist cell in Tehran, were hanged following judicial proceedings and final approval by the Supreme Court.

The two individuals had carried out missions under the direction of foreign enemies and were involved in multiple terrorist acts and explosions across the capital.

The MKO cell, under the guidance of the group’s leadership, had formed an armed faction to target sensitive Iranian locations, public centers, and critical government installations. The individuals were reportedly involved in reconnaissance operations using rocket launchers, intending to harm national security.

Montazer and Bani-Amerian were arrested along with several rocket launchers while attempting to carry out a terrorist operation.

Investigations also uncovered explosive materials and equipment related to such attacks in residences linked to the group.

The two convicts were formally charged with directing and executing multiple terrorist operations, conspiring against national security, supporting the MKO to destabilize the Islamic Republic, and membership in a terrorist organization. Following their trials and confirmation of sentences, both were executed by hanging.
