Iran’s Army Conducts Drone Strikes on US Sites in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain

Iran’s Army said in a statement that the locations of logistical equipment and support facilities, along with camps hosting US military personnel in Jordan and Kuwait, and the largest aluminum smelter supporting American military industries in Bahrain, were targeted by drone strikes starting early Friday.

The Army said the operations were conducted in response to aggressive actions by the US army and the attacks on Iran’s infrastructure, including industrial sectors and major facilities such as steel complexes in Isfahan and Khuzestan, as well as the B1 bridge in Karaj.

According to the statement, Iranian forces targeted “warehouses of logistical equipment and support facilities and accommodation centers of the US terrorist army in Jordan,” as well as “the location of a mechanized battalion of a US armored brigade stationed at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait,” and “the largest aluminum smelter in Bahrain, considered a supporter of US military industries.”

The statement noted that Camp Arifjan serves as a major logistical base for various armored vehicles and hosts multiple US units, including infantry brigades and field support forces.

It also identified Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) as the largest aluminum smelter in Bahrain, describing it as having strategic cooperation with American industries and playing a role in supporting US military manufacturing.

The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
