Majority of Israelis Disappointed by Outcome of War against Iran: Poll

According to Hebrew Group of Tasnim News Agency, the poll conducted by Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) think tank showed that Israeli public opinion's assessment of the extent of damage that will likely be inflicted on Iran as a result of the ongoing war against Iran continues to decline.

While in the first days of the war, 69% of respondents estimated that the regime would suffer significant damage, today only 43.5% hold this opinion.

A similar decline is observed regarding the expected damage to Iran's nuclear project. At the beginning of the war, 62.5% believed that the project would suffer significant damage, while today this figure is 48%.

The same is true for the issue of Iran's ballistic missiles: the percentage of respondents who assess significant damage on Iran's ballistic missiles has fallen from 73% to 58.5%.

At the same time, support for continuing the military offensive until the overthrow of the Islamic Republic has continued to decline; from 63% in the first days of the war to 54% after about two weeks and now to 45.5%.

On the northern front, public opinion is divided on the question of whether Hezbollah can be disarmed. Trust in the Israeli government in this regard remains low at 30%, accompanied by strong political polarization.

Furthermore, 63% of the Jewish population believe that the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army is right that the Israeli army is collapsing.
