Leader Reaffirms Iran’s Unwavering Support for Resistance Against US, Israel

The Leader, in a message responding to condolences and a pledge of allegiance from Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah, expressed appreciation for his message and the sympathy conveyed by Lebanese members of the movement.

Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei stated that steadfastness, resilience, and patience in confronting the most determined enemies of the Islamic world—the United States and its regional proxy, the Zionist regime—had been among the most prominent characteristics of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei. He added that this path of resistance had continued throughout years of leadership, and that the sacrifice of prominent figures, including Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and other senior commanders of Iran’s Armed Forces, served as clear evidence of the correctness of this approach.

The Leader noted that the history of Islamic resistance has been marked by struggle, courage, and a spirit of martyrdom, emphasizing that its commanders have historically sacrificed their lives ahead of others without fear of threats. He referred to figures such as Ragheb Harb, Abbas al-Musawi, Hassan Nasrallah, and Hashem Safieddine as examples of this path.

Addressing Sheikh Naim Qassem, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei pointed out that, given his experience on the front lines of resistance in Lebanon, he is now guiding the movement at a sensitive and critical juncture. The Leader expressed hope that Sheikh Naim Qassem would be able to thwart Israeli plans and restore stability and pride to the Lebanese people.

The Leader reaffirmed that the fixed policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in continuation of the path of the late Imam and the martyred leader, remains based on sustained support for resistance against the Zionist-American enemy.

He also thanked the Hezbollah secretary general for his expression of sympathy and wished him and other members of the Lebanese movement success and honor.
