A meeting of Iran’s cabinet was held on Monday under the chairmanship of President Pezeshkian, with the presence of cabinet members, to review the country’s latest situation under wartime conditions and the performance of executive bodies in maintaining essential services.
During the session, the latest situation of the country under special wartime conditions, the course of supplying the public’s essential needs, the status of basic necessities, and the measures taken by executive, service, relief institutions, and various ministries were reviewed in detail.
Members of the cabinet presented reports on the arrangements made to ensure the continuity of service delivery, the stability of the supply chain of essential goods, the preservation of public calm, and the strengthening of executive preparedness across different sectors of the country.
A comprehensive report was also presented on the daily activities of five specialized working groups—culture and media, infrastructure and production, economic, livelihood, and political-social—which have recently been tasked with managing and addressing related affairs.
The president, while appreciating the performance of all sectors and components of the country in providing uninterrupted services to the people under the current critical conditions, emphasized the necessity of continuing this process, enhancing coordination among institutions, and maintaining a spirit of dedication and responsibility among managers and officials.
Referring to the sensitive conditions of Iran amid the aggressive attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime, Pezeshkian stated that the continuation of effective and coordinated service delivery is among the main pillars of national resilience at this stage and must be pursued seriously and cohesively until the final victory over the enemy is achieved.
The president praised the bravery of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in their resolute defense of the country and their powerful confrontation with the aggressors, describing their resistance and efforts as a golden chapter in the proud history of the nation. He considered the role of the Armed Forces in safeguarding territorial integrity, national security, and the authority of the Islamic Republic as decisive and crucial.
Pezeshkian also commended the unprecedented solidarity of the people and the large nighttime gatherings held over the past month in support of the Islamic system, the Armed Forces, and the sacred land of Iran, describing this conscious and strong presence as a manifestation of national unity and a valuable asset for overcoming the current sensitive conditions.
He finally stated that any decision regarding the end of the war would be taken solely by taking into account all stated conditions and within the framework of ensuring the dignity, security, and interests of the great Iranian nation.
The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
