In a telephone conversation on Friday, Araqchi and Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon Nabih Berri talked about the consequences of the military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, as well as the extensive violations by the Israeli regime against Lebanon.

Araqchi provided a report on the latest developments related to the US-Israeli aggression against Iran and the legitimate and decisive responses of the Iranian Armed Forces.

He praised the principled stance of the speaker of the Lebanese Parliament in supporting Lebanon's national unity and reiterated Iran's principled support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon.

Araqchi emphasized that maintaining and strengthening internal cohesion is essential to confront the plots of foreign actors against the interests of Lebanese society in the current sensitive circumstances.

For his part, Berri provided explanations regarding the latest status of the Zionist regime's assaults on Lebanon and the consequences of these aggressive actions, stating that the Israeli regime's objective is to destroy Lebanon's vital infrastructure and forcibly displace Lebanese citizens from their lands.

Araqchi and Berri also emphasized the importance of strengthening and developing relations between Iran and Lebanon.
