“Appeasing the bullies & aggressors by pressuring the victim will hardly keep you spared from (the consequences of) their lawlessness & bullying,” Baqaei said in a post on his X account on Friday, responding to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Anita Anand who has announced that her government will impose more sanctions against Iran.

“Appeasing bullies & fascists does not stop them; it only whets their appetite,” the Iranian spokesman warned.
