Hezbollah Launches over 100 Attacks in 24 Hours Against Israeli Forces

The Lebanese Islamic Resistance Movement carried out more than 100 military operations against Israeli targets, according to statements released by its media arm on Friday. The attacks continued without pause, reaching 103 operations by the time of reporting.

In a sustained barrage that showed no signs of easing, one Zionist settlement came under heavy rocket fire, with Israeli sources reporting that a large number of rockets were launched from Lebanese territory toward the Upper Galilee region, triggering warning sirens in the settlement of Metula.

At the same time, Hezbollah intensified its strikes on military targets, launching precise missile attacks on three bases of the Israeli army and destroying another Merkava tank. The resistance group announced that it targeted the Eliakim and Tifon bases east of the occupied city of Acre with specialized missiles, while also striking the Zev air defense base in the occupied city of Haifa using precision-guided munitions.

In the border areas, Hezbollah fighters escalated direct engagements, hitting another Merkava tank with a missile between the heights of Mhaysibat and Qantara in southern Lebanon. This came as the resistance group engaged in close-quarters combat with Israeli soldiers in the border town of Naqoura, reporting direct clashes at very close range, alongside drone strikes targeting gatherings of Zionist soldiers in the same area.

As pressure mounted on the occupying forces, the Israeli regime requested additional troops along the border with Lebanon, with news sources indicating that the army is demanding reinforcements on the northern front.

In parallel with these ground and air operations, Hezbollah expanded its rocket campaign, firing at least 30 rockets toward occupied Palestine. Hebrew media reported that the rockets targeted the Galilee and Haifa Bay areas, adding that the strikes simultaneously hit a wide northern region stretching from Zar'it to Haifa and Karmiel, between 20 and 35 kilometers from the Lebanese border.

The intensity of these attacks drew notable attention, with Hebrew media describing the night’s barrage as the most severe since the beginning of the war, and Israeli media outlets acknowledging that the recent rocket fire from Lebanon represents the heaviest assaults carried out by Hezbollah since the start of the conflict against the regime.

In a related development, the Israeli army confirmed that one of its officers was killed during clashes with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. The officer, belonging to Battalion 77 of the army’s 7th Armored Brigade, was reportedly killed amid the ongoing confrontations.

These mounting losses, combined with the escalating intensity and coordination of Hezbollah’s operations, underscore the deepening vulnerabilities of the Zionist entity’s forces as they face sustained and multi-front resistance across southern Lebanon.
