The group said in a statement issued early Wednesday that the attack relied on precise intelligence gathered by its fighters.

"In the wake of a precise operation based on the intelligence efforts of the brave and mujahideen forces of Saraya Awliya al-Dam, we announce that in the attacks carried out on March 24, 2026, on positions in northern Iraq where Iranian opposition groups were stationed, a number of Israeli Mossad officers were also present," the statement read.

According to the statement, several of these Mossad officers suffered severe injuries in the accurate and targeted strikes.

The operation underscores the determination of Iraqi resistance forces to confront Israeli intelligence activities and their local collaborators on Iraqi soil.

Separately, the Iraqi resistance group announced the previous day that it had conducted 136 military operations against American targets in Iraq and across the region over the past 22 days.
