Following the failure of the American-Zionist axis in its military confrontation with the Iranian Armed Forces and the axis of resistance, targeting residential and civilian areas has become part of the enemy’s agenda.

Majid Farshi, director general of crisis management at East Azarbaijan Province governorate, confirmed the news of civilian casualties in an interview with Tasnim and described the latest field situation and casualty figures at the Shahid Qarabaghi neighborhood and around Imam Hussein (AS) Square in the Laleh area of Tabriz.

"Unfortunately, on the Emamdoost Street, six of our compatriots have attained the lofty rank of martyrdom up to this moment, and nine others have been injured," he said.

"Rescue forces are present in the area with full strength, and debris removal and rescue operations are still continuing," Farshi added.

Based on the field observations of the Tasnim correspondent at the scene, as a result of this criminal action, several residential units in Shahid Qarabaghi neighborhood have been completely destroyed, and serious damage has been inflicted on several other houses.
