Vyacheslav expressed deep condolences for the martyrdom of Ali Larijani, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and a former parliament Speaker.

In a statement issued posthumously, Vyacheslav underscored the vital contributions made by Larijani towards improving bilateral relations between the two countries and fostering friendship among their people.

Larijani was assassinated by US-Israeli aggressors in an airstrike on Tuesday.
