Source Gives Details of Major Upheaval in Theater amid War on Iran

Asked by Tasnim about the course of Iran’s defensive battle against the US and Israel, the informed military source said, “The downing of more than 82 American-Israeli drones since the beginning of the war, the downing of four F-15 fighter jets, and the destruction of advanced American and Israeli radars in the region have created a completely different situation in recent days regarding offense and defense, disrupting and altering enemy operations.”

“Due to the disruption in the enemy’s operations command and radars caused by the downing of drones and the destruction of radars, the Israelis and Americans have changed their approach, resorting to tactics that primarily aim to instill fear and terror, which have low military operational value instead of targeted operations,” the source added.

“Considering the disruption in the performance of the fighter jets previously used by the enemy and the serious problems that have arisen with enemy munitions, they have now resorted in some cases to using bombers and bunker busters against locations that fundamentally have no justification. For example, the enemy has used bunker buster bombs to strike an empty Basij base or police station,” the source explained.

“Such change in tactics and the severe reduction in the offensive and defensive magazine of the enemy indicates a significant development in favor of Iran,” the source noted, adding, “The enemy has been forced to use very expensive tools to strike ordinary centers that hold no military achievement for it, and this is one of the important signs of developments on the battlefield in favor of Iran.”

“The tactic of fear will not work for the enemy either. Soon, the enemy will see that the nightmare of destruction of its infrastructure has also materialized. The enemy is pursuing the theater completely contrary to what it had predicted,” the military source concluded.

The US and the Zionist regime launched a large-scale military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
