Mass Mourning Assemblies Planned in Tehran after Leader’s Martyrdom

"Upon first hearing of this unfathomable tragedy—delivered by history’s most criminal and vile entities—Iranians immediately flooded streets and plazas to express their unwavering devotion and demand fierce retribution against those behind this atrocity," Seyed Mohsen Mahmoudi, head of the Tehran Provincial Coordination Council for Islamic Propagation stated.

He added that Quranic recitations now echo through mosques, tekyehs (religious centers), parks, and intersections, while black funeral flags drape every thoroughfare in the capital.

Evening gatherings will begin after Maghrib and Isha prayers, with all 22 districts of Tehran hosting organized memorials. Tonight’s nationwide mourning ceremonies will convene across Tehran’s most prominent public spaces, including Haft Howz, Tajrish, and Sattarkhan Squares; Vali Asr (AS), Vanak, and Shaheed Tahrani Moghaddam Squares; Tehran Pars Phase Two residential district alongside Second Bazaar Plaza and the Coca-Cola Roundabout; and key thoroughfares such as Ponak Square, Haft Tir Square, Shahid Square, Falah Square, Yaftabad, Tehransar, and Olympic Square. Each location will serve as a focal point for organized assemblies beginning immediately after Maghrib and Isha prayers.

Mahmoudi emphasized the continuation of the Leader’s ideological legacy, noting: "Beloved revolutionary citizens will reaffirm their oaths to the Islamic Revolution’s ideals and martyrs through these solemn assemblies."
