Israeli Attack on Mehran Border Outpost Claims 22 Lives

 An Israeli airstrike on a border outpost in Mehran, Iran, early Tuesday morning resulted in the deaths of 22 Iranian border guards and injured 21 others, after it was followed by a terrorist attack committed by Israeli-US agents, Iranian officials reported.

The Mehran border outpost, located in the Imam Khomeini Square of Mehran County, was targeted in the attack, which involved bombings, according to the sources.

The casualties included 10 officers and 11 soldiers.  Adjacent buildings sustained significant damage as a result of the blast.
