Israeli Air Strikes Hit Southern, Eastern Lebanon

According to the reports, warplanes from the Israeli occupying army targeted areas around Kharbeh Selm in southern Lebanon, marking another breach of the truce.

Israeli fighter jets bombed the al-Waqi‘ah area between Bir al-Salasil and Kafardounin, both located in southern Lebanon, the sources said.

Separately, the reports added that Israeli warplanes struck the town of Janta in the eastern Bekaa Valley twice during the same day.

Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Health Ministry said the attacks killed one Lebanese national and wounded several others.

A ceasefire between Lebanon and the Israeli regime had taken effect through mediation by countries including the United States and France, but Israel has repeatedly violated the agreement, launching multiple attacks on Lebanese territory.

For its part, the Israeli regime’s military claimed the strikes targeted Hezbollah positions and infrastructure in Lebanon.
