Syrian media stated that Israeli military forces including tens of military vehicles entered the village of Seyda al-Hanout in southern Quneitra.
The Israeli soldiers detained and interrogated the three Syrian youths, then released them after several hours.
Recent weeks and months have seen Israeli military incursions into southern Syria, particularly in Quneitra, becoming commonplace.
These actions frequently involve detaining civilians and establishing checkpoints, fueling public discontent and anger among local residents.
Meanwhile, the current Syrian government insists it poses no threat to Tel Aviv’s regime, yet the Israeli army repeatedly crosses the border into Syrian territory, conducting numerous airstrikes that have resulted in civilian casualties and damage to military facilities.
Since the fall of Syrian President Bashar Assad on December 8, 2024, the Israeli regime has reported abandoning the ceasefire agreement brokered in 1974 between Syria and Israel.
Conversely, Damascus has repeatedly called for halting the aggression and violating Syria's national sovereignty by Israel.
Syrian citizens emphasize that the continuation of these incursions seriously hinders Syria's prospects for regaining stability.
