According to Lebanese media, the latest attacks occurred at dawn in areas near the eastern outskirts of the town of Houla, where Israeli occupation forces detonated a residential house.
Separately, Lebanese sources said the Israeli regime also targeted the southern town of al-Taybeh with a drone strike earlier in the day.
Meanwhile, a Lebanese civilian was killed on Monday evening in a separate drone attack carried out by the Israeli occupation army in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, statistics released by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) showed that since the Lebanon ceasefire agreement came into effect on Nov. 27, 2024, Israeli forces have violated the truce more than 10,000 times.
According to UNIFIL’s figures, these violations have resulted in the deaths of more than 340 Lebanese and injuries to around 1,000 others.
At the same time, Lebanese sources say that US complicity, the silence of international parties, and the inaction of the Lebanese government, repeated Israeli aggression against Lebanon has increasingly become routine.
Over recent weeks, they added, the Israeli regime has significantly escalated its attacks on Lebanon alongside intensified US political pressure and threats aimed at pushing Beirut toward normalizing relations with the Zionist enemy.
Meanwhile, Lebanese officials have taken no serious action in response to the continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire, instead relying on US initiatives, despite accusations that Washington has given Israel a green light to continue its aggression against Lebanon.
