During a ceremony on Tuesday to receive the credentials of Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, Pezeshkian stressed that the Islamic world must prioritize brotherhood over division. He said that by embracing sincere dialogue and broad cooperation, Muslim countries can play a decisive role in advancing regional stability.
Drawing on Quranic principles and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Iranian president noted that the concept of Muslim brotherhood should be reflected in actions and policies, with nations supporting one another in overcoming shared challenges.
Many of the issues facing the Islamic world can be resolved through mutual understanding and adherence to divine guidance, Pezeshkian added.
The president said his administration is committed to fostering an environment that supports economic growth, scientific progress, and social development across the Muslim world.
He also expressed confidence that the new Emirati ambassador will help deepen Iran–UAE relations, particularly in economic, political, and cultural domains.
Conveying greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Belhoul voiced his commitment to strengthening ties with Iran.
He also endorsed Pezeshkian’s emphasis on Islamic unity and affirmed the UAE’s dedication to promoting cooperation grounded in the teachings of the Prophet of Islam.
The incoming ambassador also highlighted the importance of expanding collaboration across all sectors—especially the economic sphere—to ensure sustainable and mutually beneficial relations between the two nations.
