Israeli Drone Strike Kills Three in Occupied West Bank

The Palestinian health ministry confirmed the death of three individuals resulting from an Israeli drone attack in Jenin, accompanied by a significant deployment of Israeli armored vehicles into the city earlier in the day.

Israeli forces made multiple entries into Jenin, advancing towards the refugee camp after entering the city from various points.

Amidst escalating tensions, Israeli forces conducted raids across the occupied West Bank, resulting in a dozen arrests in Silwad, east of Ramallah. Palestinian news agency Wafa characterized these arrests as significant, mentioning the detention of a 12-year-old boy among others.

Al Jazeera's correspondent Hoda Abdel-Hamid reported on a major ongoing raid in Jenin, where Israeli forces amassed near al-Razi Hospital. Additionally, reports emerged of Israeli military vehicles obstructing ambulance operations in Aqaba, north of Tubas.

The situation in Jenin remains volatile, with Israeli forces surrounding three hospitals, including those in close proximity to the refugee camp, heightening concerns in an area familiar with prolonged raids lasting up to 15 to 16 hours in the past.

Further raids unfolded across the occupied West Bank, notably in Bani Naim and Bethlehem.
