The top Iraqi diplomat is going to hold meetings with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif and a number of other officials.

His visit comes against a backdrop of Iraq’s plan to host a summit involving the heads of a number of regional countries.

There is speculation that Fuad Hussein is going to invite Iranian authorities to the upcoming meeting.
