He lost to Tajikistan’s Abdurahim Yoqubov in the competition’s semifinals and won a bronze medal.

A total of 239 boxers comprising of 170 boys and 69 girls from 26 countries are taking part in the nine-day championship.

The competition started on October 8 in Fujairah and will finish on October 17.
