Sohrein Plain, Last Refuge of Iranian Gazelles
ZANJAN (Tasnim) – Sohrein protected plain, a vast natural habitat in Zanjan province, serves as one of the last refuges of the rare Iranian gazelle in the country’s northwest. Rangers work around the clock to protect these rare animals in the plain that covers an area of about 35,000 hectares.
