به گزارش گروه اجتماعی خبرگزاری تسنیم، دکتر سید علیرضا مرندی طی نامه ای خطاب به خالد عنانی مدیر کل یونسکو مراتب محکومیت و اعتراض شدید خود را نسبت به حملات وحشیانه آمریکا و رژیم صهیونیستی در حمله به مدارس و مراکز درمانی و پرسنل پزشکی اعلام کرد. 

متن این نامه بدین شرح است:

جناب آقای خالد عنانی

مدیرکل یونسکو

با نهایت تأسف و قوی‌ترین وجه ممکن، این نامه را در اعتراض به موج حملات وحشیانه، غیرقابل‌قبول و بدون‌دلیل رژیم نژادپرست و جنایتکار اسرائیل و ایالات متحده علیه مراکز غیرنظامی حیاتی، به ویژه مدارس و بیمارستان‌ها، ارائه می‌نماییم.

در یک حمله به یک مدرسه، حدود 170 دانش‌آموز دختر به شهادت رسیدند.

این حملات نه تنها نقض آشکار قوانین بین‌المللی بشردوستانه است، بلکه خیانت به بنیادی‌ترین ارزش‌های انسانی محسوب می‌شود.

حمله به مدرسه، حمله به آینده یک ملت است و حمله به بیمارستان، حمله به خود زندگی.

هدف قرار دادن بیماران، کادر درمان و کودکان بی‌گناه در پناهگاه‌های امنی همچون بیمارستان‌ها و مدارس، مصداق جنایت علیه بشریت و نقض آشکار تمامی اصول اخلاقی و انسانی است که یونسکو برای پاسداشت آنها تلاش می‌کند. این اقدامات در تلاشند تا بذر عقب‌ماندگی، جهل و رنج عمیق را برای نسل‌های آینده بکارند.

ما قویاً از یونسکو، به عنوان صدای قدرتمند و مدافع آموزش و سلامت در جهان، درخواست می‌کنیم تا از تمامی نفوذ و اختیارات خود برای موارد زیر استفاده کند:

1. محکومیت شدید این اقدامات؛

2. فراخوانی شورای امنیت سازمان ملل و نهادهای بین‌المللی برای به دست عدالت سپردن عاملان این جنایات؛

3. تقویت تعهد مجدد جامعه جهانی نسبت به مصونیت کامل زیرساخت‌های آموزشی و بهداشتی.

جهان باید این اعمال شنیع را محکوم کند و تضمین نماید که کودکان و بیماران، صرف‌نظر از هرگونه مناقشه‌ای، از حق اساسی خود برای زندگی و یادگیری برخوردار شوند.

Subject: Condemnation of Attacks on Schools, Hospitals, and Medical Personnel

Your Excellency Mr. Khaled El-Enany,

The Director-General of UNESCO,

It is with profound sorrow and the strongest condemnation that we submit this letter in protest of the unprovoked and unacceptable wave of brutal attacks by the racist and criminal Israeli regime and the United States against vital civilian centers, namely schools and hospitals.

In just one attack on a school, approximately 170 schoolgirls were killed.

These attacks are not only a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law but also a betrayal of the most fundamental values of humanity.

An attack on a school is an attack on a nation's future, and an attack on a hospital is an attack on life itself.

Targeting the sick, medical staff, and innocent children in safe havens like hospitals and schools constitutes crimes against humanity and a gross violation of all ethical and humanitarian principles that UNESCO strives to uphold. These actions attempt to sow the seeds of backwardness, ignorance, and deep suffering for future generations.

We strongly urge UNESCO, as the powerful voice and defender of global education and health, to use all its influence and authority to:

1. severely condemn these actions;

2. call upon the UN Security Council and international bodies to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to legal accountability; and

3. reinforce the global community's renewed commitment to the full immunity of educational and health infrastructure.

 

The world must condemn these heinous acts and ensure that children and patients, regardless of any conflict, are afforded their fundamental right to life and learning.
