In a post on X, Baqaei described the White House allegations as an act of “projection” and a “flight from reality,” saying such accusations should come as no surprise.

“The White House spokesperson has issued a lengthy list of accusations against Iran. With striking precision, most of these charges describe the very actions the United States itself has initiated, perpetrated, or supported,” he wrote.

“This flight from reality and act of projection should come as no surprise: ‘The wicked flee when no one is pursuing.’ Proverbs 28:1,” Baqaei added.
