Iran’s New Equation Reshapes Confrontation with Israeli Regime

Last night, Iran acted on one of its recent threats against the Zionist regime. Tehran had previously declared that if the Zionists attacked Beirut, they would face a response from Iran’s Armed Forces and the Axis of Resistance.

Neither the Israeli regime nor even the US expected Iran to implement this threat so quickly and with such a high volume of fire. As a result, only hours after Israeli crimes in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district, Iranian missiles were launched toward the occupied territories in several waves.

The Israeli regime attempted to respond to the attack and perhaps once again assumed that Iran would accept a one-for-one equation and refrain from organizing a new wave of attacks. However, Iran responded again to Israel’s response as well. Up to this moment, according to the Israeli military’s own account, Iran has carried out three waves of attacks, while Israel has conducted two.

Following these confrontations, information received by Tasnim indicates that the opposing side requested a halt to the fighting. Donald Trump also stated this explicitly.

Iran, however, agreed to the request for a cessation of hostilities under a new and conditional equation. Tehran announced that if Israeli aggression continues, or if Israeli and American crimes in Lebanon persist, the confrontation will resume—not only in relation to Beirut, but also southern Lebanon—and Iran will deliver an even more crushing response.

In summary, the developments can be described as follows:

1. Iran’s threat regarding Beirut was carried out against the Zionist regime.

2. Iran delivered a heavy response to Israel’s retaliation and did not stop at a one-for-one equation in the direct confrontation.

3. Trump—and in reality Israel—retreated and requested a halt to the fighting.

4. Another display of the unity of the fronts took place, this time with Yemen’s renewed entry into the confrontation, including the launch of at least two missiles and the closure of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait to Israeli vessels.

5. Iran established a new equation for ending the conflict; southern Lebanon was added to Tehran’s deterrence formula alongside Beirut and the Dahiyeh district.

6. The halt in hostilities is conditional; if the Israeli regime commits further acts of aggression, an even more crushing response will follow.
