In a statement released by its military media wing, the Lebanese Islamic resistance movement said the operations were conducted “in defense of Lebanon’s land and people” and as retaliation for persistent violations by the Israeli regime.

According to the statement, the attacks included coordinated missile launches, offensive drone strikes and artillery fire targeting Israeli gatherings, armored vehicles, military bases and deployment centers across border areas and northern occupied Palestine.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military acknowledged that seven of its soldiers were wounded during clashes on the northern front along the Lebanon–occupied Palestine border within the same 24-hour period.
