Accompanied by a number of senior Army generals, Commander of the Iranian Army Major General Amir Hatami visited the headquarters of the IRGC on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and the Revolutionary Guard’s Day on Friday and held talks with IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Pakpour and other top commanders of the IRGC.

In comments at the meeting, Major General Pakpour referred to the recent developments, describing them as a US-Zionist sedition, and said the country had faced new methods in these events that could only be neutralized through unity, vigilance, and solidarity.

The IRGC chief stressed that coordination and cohesion among the Army, the IRGC, and the Law Enforcement Command (FARAJA), along with the sacrifices made by Basij forces, had played the decisive role in successfully passing through such conspiracies.

For his part, Major General Hatami described the hostile actions of Iran’s enemies as a “hybrid” and “all-out” war, saying the sworn enemies of the Iranian nation had mobilized their military, media, and economic capacities to target the independence, dignity, and freedom of the Iranian people.

He emphasized the necessity of maintaining and enhancing readiness to confront adversaries, noting that comprehensive preparedness of the Army and the IRGC, backed by the insightful, resilient, and enemy-aware Iranian nation, has rendered enemy plots ineffective and, at the same time, outlined bright prospects for Iran across all arenas.

In another part of his remarks, the Army commander described unity among the Armed Forces as a strategic necessity, a guarantor of security, and a key condition for the country’s progress and development as well as for standing up to complex enemy conspiracies.

He stressed that the Army and the IRGC have so far overcome numerous seditions and difficult arenas through sacred unity and solidarity, demonstrating that they will never allow enemies to achieve their sinister goals of striking the Islamic Republic of Iran.
